…I talked to my editor at VIVA and I have a new deadline to make. Yahoo! That’s actually two for this week (good thing JO turned down my latest endeavor, sniff), so I better get my act together and stop checking my gmail EVERY time the little red letter pops up.
Shaden, you asked about my daughter, Little Kinz; not only is she still coughing and sniffling but ALL my kids have this nasty virus. There are four kinds of medicines on the counter (thanks, Lord, no one needs antibiotics) and I’m up all night dispensing them, bas alhamdulilah, mish “eshi” aswa min hayk. She should be good to go to the cookie party tomorrow. Like mom, nothing will keep her from girl-talk and cookies. I’m bringing surprises!

Danke dir, Ohoud! Sie sind schon ganz besser…wilde buben habe ich, doch!
Bakkouz: yet another great daddy in the making. LOL, I was thinking you meant like ‘mloukia without the spinach! But that would be good sick-kid food. My favorite for a cold is honey in hot lemon water.

Kinzi, don’t forget to put your feet up for a couple minutes and have yourself one of those cookies. You need your strength to keep up with the kids.

LUCIA!!! WELCOME!! Thank you so much for visiting my world. I will take those words as if from God the Holy Spirit and go to bed…thank you for having curious insight as to what I need when I need it.
Tomorrow, I will open that last jar of jam you made and spend some time thanking God for you over breakfast.

I’ve thought about you this week, Kinzi, while making wild berry gift jellies. This year I’m doing it the old fashioned way, using apples from my garden for pectin. The flavor is better and needs less sugar. I will ask God to bless you as you taste a little bit of my world tomorrow.
