Whoa, did I learn my lesson, NEVER put that 3 letter word in a blog title! Heh-heh, to the pure all things are pure, and I had NO idea how many pervert-robots and humans would link and look. Imagine their surprise: a post promoting marriage and chastity! May God give them a brain-worm to promote repentence!
In looking at the other top-contenders for that coveted botd, I was in the running with the football frenzied fans, celebrity gossip, knitters and the on-going DIGG controversy. Most of all, I am glad to put ASHRAFIYYA on the big blogging map.
But, I think I’ll go back to blogging about baking for awhile.

Habeebti Summer! Yes, a special pancake recipe for Firas and easy no-rise cinnamon rolls. Sadly, Family Flavours magazine didn’t want ANY of my kid-friendly baking ideas, so I’ll post them all at one point or another.

Kinzi-
I did have to laugh, because when I tried to read yesterday’s post at work (I know, I know- what am I doing reading it at work? It was lunch. I promise) your blog was deemed unacceptable by our filtering software. I guess because of the 3 letter word. When it happens at work, a screen page said the site I was trying to access has been blocked because of content, and a record of trying to access it has been logged to our server. I thought, “Kinzi? Her blog?”
Anyways, when I read it later, it was such a great post. I was still thinking about your fire analogy even last night before bedtime. Thanks!
Emily
ps- can’t wait to go shopping!

Em, girl, I am MORTIFIED again!! Please tell your filter I will never use that word again!! :O But, I am glad it was worth your time and risk later!!
Who is that saint? I would love to learn more!
And yes…I thought of you Monday when I took those ladies from the US shopping. SSSOOOOOOOOOOOO, what would you like to shop for??????

Kinzi-
we can’t wait to shop. My mom wants to replace some of her gold chains, so the gold souks would be nice. She would also like to visit Queen Noor’s shop (we read her bio last year). Other than that, we’re open to whatever you think would be fun.
The saint is St. Maria Goretti. She lived in Italy and even forgave her attacker before she died (from the injuries of the attack). Let me know if you want anymore info.

When I posted once about a sex blog linking to my blog, all I got after that is people searching for sex or porn or whatever visiting my site. Sorry I disappointed them… but it is unbelievable how many people out there search for these things.. it’s absurd!

Emily, thank you! Imagine the faith and forgiveness God empowered her with for that gift of grace…wow!! About that little detail, it’s done!
Mona, I do remember that now…heh-heh, I bet they ARE disappointed with Urdaniyya blogger content now! Yea, it’s like that word brings these folks out of the woodwork, I am going to pray that God blesses them with a REAL life!

loool… do you actually see the search strings to your site? Like I have a counter and I see what people search for to get to my site, and God help them… Some stuff are too nasty to even imagine!
