Hopefully you all will give me the “American Pass” in shamelessly rejoicing that JO included a bit from my blog in their “Super Highway” section this month! This illustrious page is normally filled with the likes of Nas Tarawneh, Oula Farwati, Lina, Roba, Hala K, Sandmonkey and Amal of Arab Woman Progressive Voice. This month, Fadi from Arab Observer and…shock…kinziblogs!
Dan Price wrote the roundup this month, and pulled up my post “Maniac of Mecca Street”; where I took the driver of that gorgeous Porsche to task for his dangerous driving. Dan’s commentary:

yeah i was curious about the stories you mentioned (or actually didn’t mention of mohanned’s blog regarding iraq, and the fighters…
I would appreciate you sharing some of the stories and they are just a personal interest and since u didn’t want to post them i’ll respect that and not post them

Allah yabarik fiiki, ya Noura! I know it is quite un-Arab of me to point it out, but when I saw Roba did, I didn’t feel as silly. Thanks for noticing, I try and write about things that make a difference…and God knows, if drivers would calm down, children’s lives woudl be in less danger on the roads.
