I am still too sick to be blogging coherently, but it seems this tag is going fast and furious so I better get with it while there are still 6 people to tag.
I was blessed to be tagged by MommaBean AND Umm Farouq. I told myself I would not go read what everyone else wrote, just wing it and see what comes up. But, it seems great minds think alike, so even in winging I am lacking originality. So may repetition serve to underline WHY it is important! It seems people were divided into two categories: those who would do things while you are still covered by the ‘child label’ to get away with it, and those who would recommend actions to PREPARE one for life as an adult. I fall into the latter category.
Here are Las Reglas:
1. Post these rules before presenting your list. (check!)
2. List 6 actions or achievements you think every person should accomplish before turning 18.
3. There are no conditions on what can be included on the list.
4. At the end of your blog, choose 6 people to get tagged and list their names.
5. People who are tagged write their own blog entry with their 6 suggestions.
6. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged.
7. Optional: You can include the image of the ridiculous Reese’s Puffs list in your post as a reference.
My top six:
1) Get a job in the service industry.
2) Go on a foreign exchange program during high school.
3) Volunteer to teach inner-city kids to read.
4) Learn to pick up your dirty socks and flush the toilet.
5) Make sure you have embraced your faith as your own, not just ridden on parental faith.
6) Be able to cook the Big Four M’s: Mansaf, Ma’loobeh, ‘Mlookheeyah, Mujaddara. If you are really feeling lofty, add ‘Msukkhan.
I tag: Roba, Musa, Shaden, Mazz, Bam and Hayat.

Qwaider, aw, I added the cooking not to make it hard, but so that Arabs who become ex-pats will always have a taste of their home culture with them.
Allah yaselmak…getting better a little every day!
