I am happy to report that all our bags are packed and UNDER weight! Garage sale-ing absolutely stank this summer, and I did not shop-til-I-drop, so we are making another trip to the grocery store for yummies like soya nuts, sunflower seeds andchocolate chips (which one doesn’t belong? :S). Best of all, Spikekid now weighs all the bags for me so I don’t over-do the lifting. Spikekid gained seven pounds this summer, and he is almost looking me in the eye. Scary.
He is also mad at me, as I packed two of his new CDs before he down-loaded the new music on his MP3 player for the trip. I gave the grand call that I was in packing mode, anything left out was going in no matter what.
History Buff is mad I packed his Star Wars action figures and won’t let him take them on the plane. He was very happy he got to see Clone Wars, and was planning on recreating scenes while on the plane. He is a bit miffed at the director, and is going to write and tell him he did not fully develop the Count Duku character to his satisfaction.
Project Boy was mad I wouldn’t let him finish painting his latest model before packing it all. The kid has discovered Revell model kits, and he spent every last dime on WWII airplane models. Very cute, he reminds me of my little brothers at that age. Hubby tells me he was a big Revell fan too.
I was mad at myself as I packed Lil Kinz’ new sneakers, and I had planned to have her wear them on the plane. It took me 45 minutes of digging to find them. I also packed ALL my own clothes, so what did I think I was going to wear?
BUT…il a7ham, hubby was happy with me as I managed to read Breaking Dawn, watch some Olympics, and get packed in record time.
My next post is a biggee, introducing a new topic and category at Kinziblogs. It should be the first one typed on my new laptop!
