Description
How YOU can help:
· On the day, come to the souq, bring your friends and SPEND your money
· Tell everyone and support the idea
· Give us things to sell (books, jam, unwanted gifts, plants, olive oil, cakes, pictures… you bring it and we will try to sell it for as much as possible)
· Help us organize the bits we haven’t got enough time for … find us some entertainers / musicians / and get them there … put posters around the place
How we will raise money:
· By doing what we do well … running ethical markets.
· charge an entry fee of JD1 per customer ( or a gift for us to sell)
· run a raffle / tombola with YOUR donated gifts
· ask souq producers to donate a % of their revenue
· run a HUGE stall selling gifts that YOU donate
· a coffee and cake shop (cake makers wanted)
· find some activities to encourage YOU to part with your cash
· look for entertainers who will pass round the hat
· ensure there are people with buckets asking you to give generously
