WHO: YOU, on-line female life-givers, are invited* to celebrate life with me. I’m inviting all my off-line female friends and co-workers too. The wildest gathering of diverse divas (and quieter, less drama-centric gals kamaan) in the history of Amman.
WHEN: My 49th birthday, Sunday, March 15, from 6-9pm
WHY: to thank you for encouraging me though my cancer journey and give cash gifts to help rebuild Gaza. There will be several choices to direct the gifts: repairing a damaged hospital, adopting a family with immediate needs, helping with rehab for injured children, etc. All done through trustworthy friends with only two degrees of separation, guaranteeing it gets to those intended. There will be a giving tree where you can anonymously roll up your bills and tie them the to the tree.
WHAT TO BRING: a plate of your favorite munchie to share: chocolatey, sweet, savory. No pork or alcohol, please. Do NOT bring personal gifts for me, just cash for Gaza.
WHAT WERE GONNA DO:
6-7pm Eat. Drink. Eat. Eat. Talk, Talk, Talk. Giggle, Laugh, maybe ROFL
7-7:30pm Hear a great girl band!!! Dear friend Usha, who has performed in Amman with famed Nabil Sawalha, will just happen to be in town, and has agreed to belt it out for our enjoyment.
7:30- Play Games (WITH PRIZES) We will re-create the old American game show, To Tell The Truth. Come prepared with your most embarrassing or interesting life moment to participate in the panel, or be a part of the interactive audience.
Network. I am not shy to say I have some of the nicest, most brilliant, creative and inspiring friends on the planet. Did I mention gorgeous, too? These times call for innovative female synergy to be released in Amman. Let’s link up and better our world.
*Ladies only, but blogger guys feel free to send money!!! LOL! Isn’t that what we ladies always say?
*If we haven’t met, let’s apply apply the two degree of separation rule. If you know someone who knows me in real-time, ahlan. We have room and seating for 75 folks.
CONFIRM as space is limited, email me at hope4wounded@gmail.com for directions.

What if we want to donate but live a leeetle too far away to attend the party?
Happy Birthday, btw!:)
Am I invited? I can make cookies! ^^
”6-7pm Eat. Drink. Eat. Eat. Talk, Talk, Talk. Giggle, Laugh, maybe ROFL”
HAHA
It seems like I a lot of fun, I wish you have a good time together!
I’ll be there. Is this a confirmation?! Teehee!
See not all of us guys just pay money. Some of us make real good caterers =P.
Happy Birthday =)
Well, I can’t be there in person (boo…as it sounds like so much fun!)…but I shall be there in spirit!! Yes, and as Emily said…how do we donate?
It’s so nice of you Kinzi to want to help the people of Gaza. The giving tree
where one can give anonymously is a great idea and is sure to catch on all over this great universe.
Emily and Isobel, how cool are you two???? I asked hubby, and he said as long as the gifts weren’t huge (getting into IRS trouble), you could send us a check via bro-in-law and we’ll give the cash on our end. And we’ll dedicate a song or two to you both!!!!! I’ll email the info.
Nizar, lol dude, LADIES ONLY!!! Next time you are in Jordan, give us a heads up, maybe MommaBean and I will have a cookie party in your honor.
Shadz, you men are marvelous creatures. We ladies couldn’t live without you! Cash or no cash, indeed.
MommaBean, heh-heh, more than confirmed, honey, I need your HELP!!!! My very best friends have to help me organize my random vision of what this is supposed to look like.
Krystal, now that would be fun, a year of dedicating birthday parties to Gaza rebuilding. Um, maybe ten years of birthdays. :S
