You know, those angry, gun toting post-55 protesters the media has been warning us about. those nasty domestic terrorist extremists, the worst form of evil in humanity, ready to blast shops, police and anyone who doesn’t share their agenda.
Except that it isn’t. Just a couple thousand 20ish, multi-colored Canadians are protesting the G20 gathering, which just makes it young folks expressing their displeasure with world leaders in a passionate and provocative way.
What a difference a border makes.
Things are going better than last year, though.

It makes me laugh, the people who claim that this is a right, that’s a right, something else is a right, no one’s illegal, there are no borders, etc. They’re most likely the same people who show up to protest at every summit, no matter what country it is.
These nice young people are the same anarchists that show up at any world organization meeting. They believe the end justifies the means and will use violence and destruction to acheive it. This is not the same as 1960s protests.
