This is my UK-dwelling brother T, climbing in Yosemite. This was his first big climb after shattering an ankle after falling 20′ last year. Say mabruuk, as he just married lovely lady K this weekend, at Yosemite! I wish I could have been there. I asked everyone about setting up a laptop and Skype so I could watch live, but it wasn’t to be. Can’t wait for wedding pics!
This shot is from El Capitan, I think. He did not take his bride up there, I am sure.
T, K and two nephews may come to Jordan next year! I think they’ll like Wadi Rum

I remember Yosemite. Two birds flew into my windshield on the same day and killed themselves, one on the way into the park, and one as I was leaving the park. While I was there, Japanese people were everywhere, and no white people were in sight. It felt like an alternate reality where the United States lost World War 2.
