Alledged Abuser Used Aliases When Traveling

The Toronto imam, Masroor, who is being investigated for several charges of child sexual abuse, used several very different names when traveling:

Police allege the accused possessed passports and travelled under assumed aliases.

The alias Junaid Salman was allegedly used in the early 1990s in Europe, including in Hungary, Austria and Italy.

The alias Abdur Rahim was possibly used during the 1980s in India, Qatar and Saudia Arabia.

The accused may also be known as Abdul Karim Abdul Aziz, police alleged.

Police believe Masroor lived and worked world-wide. He has been in Toronto since 2008.

Always run a background check on anyone who volunteers in a church or a mosque. Better to be safe than sorry, innocent people don’t mind thorough protection of children, and the guilty won’t be back.

  1. Marvin, preach it!

Samar, if guilty, I think he is evil. He may have sick behaviour, but I think evil drives those desires,

  2. K, since the comment is off topic and would be a little strange to readers, I am not going to approve that one.
