A piece of news that would have slipped by had I not met someone from Cordoba, Alaska here in Amman some years ago.
They got EIGHTEEN FEET of snow.
My kids are still praying for snow, but we will settle for eighteen feet of gentle rain. Lord, please, bring it on!!!

Yes, as long as we don’t get 18 feet of rain all at one go! Poor Nazareth would resemble Venice, but without the boats!!!
Scattered rain and drizzle Wed pm, Thu pm and sometimes on Fri. No snow in the forecast
Hi Kinzi –
hope all is well!
No snow here in Chicago yet … and I’m loving every bit of it… today, it’s 50 degrees. I am not missing the snow at all, but certainly missing you very much.
NRM, welcome to my blog! Yes, Amman’s streets would become canals like Venice. Even with 18 inches. BUT, will stay pray for rain AND snow.
Blue, hey guy! There was snow for a little bit, just not enough to matter :C Hey, and you know, no one cares what the forecast is, we all just go into reality denial when there is a slight chance of precipitation, sa7?
IMAN!!!!! Sharafteeeni by woojoodik! Thank you for missing me, likewise cute one. Coming to Amman soon? We’ll be in the US in 2013 after SpikeKid graduates for a longer period, maybe the 10th attempt we can meet up
All is well indeed…and you got some snow after all, yea?
Ahlain
… so I take it you guys are moving back next year? I am not planning a trip to Amman this year but anxiously awaiting your move back to the US! and indeed we must meet up
Yes, we got lots of snow, but it’s all gone now
We aren’t moving back, but thought it might be a time to spend a few extra months to make sure the eldest is firmly established in uni. Lots has to happen between then and now, but that is the plan, YES, that would be so great. Maybe you could even spend a weekend in our home in central Illinois
would love to! send me an email so that I send you my latest contact info
