Longtime readers know that my kounouzes have run in the Dead2Red UltraMarathon several times, since 7th grade. They love it: the Dead Sea, the camaraderie, the stars in the desert, the desert air, the sunrise over Aqaba and chasing down the Aramex team.
I had the privilege of interviewing the D2R organizers for Go. Cool fun, folks. Imagine my surprise when one of the organizers turned out to be Ammar Sabbah, who I had just confirmed an interview for the next day. Small small world in Amman…fun folks flock together.
